Gilcomston Youth Group Programme
Gilcomston Youth Group is open to all secondary aged young people. We meet every weekend to spend time together either socially, on a Friday (7pm to 9pm) or for a Bible Study on a Sunday afternoon (4pm to 6pm).
Youth Group is led by Phil Brown, Esther Combe and David and Rosie Strudwick.
We visit different people in the congregation on a Sunday who provide us with a place to meet and tea, then we all go to the evening service together. We do various social things on Fridays. We try to cater for a range of interests but limit the outings that cost to once a term. If we are out and about sometimes the young folk will want around £2 for food; it is absolutely fine to borrow from leaders. We would not want anyone to feel left out. We would appreciate if you could let us know when your child cannot make youth group - this is particularly important for catering on a Sunday. It also helps us to know in advance if people need lifts home.
