Read Exodus 3.7-10
“I have indeed seen the misery of My people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave-drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering ..” (Ex.3.7)
Israel’s deliverance from slavery in Egypt is a great illustration of what God’s salvation comprises: behind His saving activity was His covenant love, and here God explains in memorable terms the unchanging features of the love that He has for His people.
