There are many students who are part of the fellowship and are encouraged to be involved in all areas of the life of Gilcomston. However, we recognise that students have special needs, physical (good food!) and spiritual, and we try to care for these in a variety of ways.

During the first few weeks of term, there is an emphasis placed on offering Sunday lunches to students at homes. This is a great way to get away from halls food and get to know other people within the church. We also run an optional ‘buddying’ scheme that pairs up students with older people in the church to meet regularly together. Those who are involved in this find it incredibly helpful and encouraging.

We also encourage our students to be involved in the CU at their college or university. These mission teams, an arm of the local churches, are active in evangelism on campus and there are various opportunities to serve.
