Creation

Read John 5.16-19

“.. He can only do what He sees His Father doing ..” (Jn.5.19)

From the start of the Scriptures the Lord reveals Himself as the God who works. His creative activity, recorded so fully in Genesis 1, is replicated again and again by Him in the work of recreation, wonderfully remaking men and women in His own image.

As you reflect back on the past week, in what ways have you seen the Lord at work?

We’re called to walk humbly with our God and can only do what we see Him doing: what do you see the Father doing in your community at this time?

Prayer: How wonderful it is that You, Lord, act on behalf of those who wait for You. Come among Your people today and work wonders again among us.
