Read John 7.25-30
“.. some of the people of Jerusalem began to ask ..” (Jn.7.25)
Jesus raised eyebrows and prompted questions. He didn’t really fit the categories with which they worked. He looked like the Messiah – yet He didn’t quite look the part. They knew Him – yet they didn’t! They tried to seize Him – yet they couldn’t!
What are the questions which the people you mix with have about Jesus?
Relationship with Jesus is always key: how well do you know Him and how will you get to know Him better?
Prayer: The more I know You, Lord, the more I realise I don’t know about You! Grant me that humility which will keep me always teachable and always learning more.
