Crisis
Read John 9.39-41
“.. for judgment I have come into this world ..” (Jn.9.39)
Jesus created crisis wherever He went. Light has come into the world – the bright, searing light of the glory of God – and people either hide from it or are drawn to it. You’re either a moth or a mole! Rejoice in the light of Jesus’ presence today!
How do you square Jesus’ statement here (v.39) with His declaration that “I did not come to judge the world” (Jn.12.47)?
When you join with others in worship on the Lord’s Day, in what sense will the ‘blind’ be enabled to see?
Prayer: Open my eyes that I may see glimpses of truth Thou hast for me; place in my hands the wonderful key that shall unclasp and set me free.
