Read Romans 1.8-10
“.. how constantly I remember you in my prayers at all times ..” (Rom.1.9-10)
A sense of gratitude infused the spirit of the apostle, and such a spirit, he believed, will be a characteristic of all believers (1 Thess.5.16-18). Gratitude for the believers in Rome found expression in his prayer for them and his longing for their fellowship.
How might you cultivate such a spirit of gratitude in your own heart?
What practical steps might you take to ensure you pray more for fellow believers?
Prayer: Ask the Lord to lay on your heart say 5 fellow believers for whom to pray today, and another church fellowship beyond your own. Use Eph.6.23-24 as your prayer.
