Saviour
Read John 4.39-42
“.. we know that this man really is the Saviour of the world ..” (Jn.4.42)
The woman’s simple testimony prompted many in the town to encounter Jesus for themselves: as they did so, it was His words (rather than any deeds) which saw many more become believers too, persuaded that He is the promised Saviour for all.
How has the Lord, through His read-and-preached Word, spoken to you, both creating and strengthening your faith?
Are there those you’ll meet today with whom you can share Your testimony?
Prayer: As Your people gather for worship today, O Lord, and Your Word is read and proclaimed, please speak again with such power and grace that many come to faith.
