Fulness

Read Malachi 3.6-12

“.. ‘Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing ..’” (Mal.3.10)

Through this week, the readings all relate to the Lord’s constant desire to bless His people abundantly: it’s a fulness of life which Jesus has come to effect, a fulness which is experienced as you learn how a covenant relationship with Him works.

What will it mean for you to ‘test’ the Lord in this matter by bringing ‘the whole tithe into the storehouse’?

Are there ways in which you have been ‘robbing’ God?

Prayer: Your delight, Lord, to bless in abundance is often not matched by my desire to serve with great abandon: create in me a love that overflows in generosity.
