Read Luke 24.9-12
“But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense” (Lk.24.11)
The women’s testimony was discounted, partly because of who they were (a woman’s word counted for little back then), but also because of what they said. Remember, though – the Bible’s message is about a God who does extraordinary things!
Do you hold your tongue because you fear rejection?
Are you too quick to dismiss or ignore the testimony of some because of how you have ‘classed’ them?
Prayer: Help me, Lord, to have my ears wide open to hear what You are saying – not only through Your word, but through Your people too, however ordinary they may be.
