Patience
Read 2 Peter 3.8-10
“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you ..” (2 Pet.3.9)
The Lord has no pleasure in the death of any. He deals patiently with us stubborn and rebellious creature. The promise of His coming always brings both salvation and judgment; He thus delay its fulfilment to give ample time and room for repentance.
In what ways are you now conscious of the Lord’s great patience towards you through the course of your life?
Waiting is always hard! How does Peter suggest you can learn to wait patiently for the promises God has made to be fulfilled?
Prayer: How grateful I am for the patience You have shown towards me, my Lord. Grant me the grace, by Your Holy Spirit, myself to bear patiently with others today.
