Supply
Read Daniel 1.15-17
“To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning ..” (Dan.1.17)
Hudson Taylor taught that “God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply.” When the Lord finds in a person such a resolve to honour Him as these young men had displayed, He always supplies the resources of every sort which they’ll need.
What situations did God use in your early days as a follower of Jesus to strengthen and consolidate your bold desire to honour Him all your days?
In what ways can you see that the Lord has carefully and graciously equipped you for all that He’s called you to be and do?
Prayer: You know, Lord, what I will have to face in coming days, and I’m comforted by that. Help me to rest in the assurance that Your grace will always be sufficient for me.
