Read Luke 3.1-6
“‘A voice of one calling in the wilderness, “Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for Him..”’” (Lk.3.4)
This latter day ‘prophet Elijah’ (Mal.4.5) erupted like his forbear onto the scene, and in the outworking of God’s plan he dwarfed the ‘big-name’ players In Israel’s life at the time: the servant of God’s word will always wield the greater power.
