Read Luke 19.35-36

“As He went along, people spread their cloaks on the road” (Lk.19.36)

Not a detail in Luke’s narrative is without significance. Cloaks were thrown on the colt and they sat Jesus on it: and the gathering crowd of people spread their cloaks on the road.

What were the people signifying by spreading their cloaks on the road?

To what might this equate in your response to Jesus?

Prayer: Your Majesty, I can but bow: I lay my all before You now. In royal robes I don’t deserve I live to serve Your Majesty.
