Read John 3.9-12

The need to be ‘born again’ is not some strange doctrine held by those on the slightly ‘weirdo’ fringes of the Christian faith: it’s a core truth taught throughout the Scriptures and vouched for by Jesus Himself. Trust Him on this even if you don’t fully understand!
Why was Jesus surprised that Nicodemus didn’t ‘understand these things’?
What helped you grasp the possibility of, and the need for, your being ‘born again’?
Prayer: Open my eyes, Lord, that I may see clearly the truths which are taught in Your Word: and move in my heart today that I may truly live this life of the kingdom.
