Read John 9.17-23
“.. What have you to say about Him? ..” (Jn.9.17)
While the man’s physical healing was immediate, his ability to see spiritual reality was more gradual. The key question for everyone relates to who Jesus is: the man born blind is honest and bold, his parents more cautious and calculating. Which are you?
How, and by what means, has your ‘sight’ of Jesus, your ability to see Him for who He really is as the very Son of God, grown over time?
Do the opinions of others sway you when it comes to your view of Jesus, making you wary of a clear-cut commitment to Him as Lord?
Prayer: Too often, Lord, I’m fearful of those around me. Give me the wisdom to know when to speak, the grace to know what to say, and the boldness to declare Your truth.
