Saturday 25 September

Alive

Read Acts 20.8-10

“‘.. ‘Don’t be alarmed,’ he said. ‘He’s alive!’ ..’” (Acts 20.10)

You never know exactly what may happen when the Lord’s people gather together on the first day of the week and direct their hearts to Him! Believers are still very flawed in their humanity – but the risen, resurrecting Lord is present in power among them!

When you gather with fellow believers on the first day of the week for worship, do you come with an expectation that God will be mightily at work?

How does Eutychus provide a good illustration of the grace of God in the gospel?

Prayer: I thank You constantly, my Lord and Saviour, that though I once was dead, because of Your great love for me You made me alive in Christ!
