Read Romans 12.17-21
“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone ..” (Rom.12.18)
Caring for others can be hard, especially when you’ve been wronged. Our default response is to look somehow for ‘payback’. But God makes a much better job of that than you! Leave God to do the person justice: you do the person good!
How do you fulfil the exhortations here without becoming a ‘doormat’?

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, that You have called me to Yourself. Help me to walk humbly with You through today, and in all contexts to act justly and to love mercy.
