Read Romans 15.17-19
“.. I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me ..’” (Rom.15.18)
Paul’s service to God saw him proclaiming the gospel far and wide: but he was quick to recognise that the fruit of his labours was only ever what Christ had accomplished through him by the power of His Spirit – and it was only of that he would speak.
When your service to God meets with a measure of success how do you keep yourself from pride?
What are you able to see that Christ has done through you by what you have said and done?
Prayer: Apart from You, Lord Jesus, I am nothing and I can do nothing. But with You and through You I can do all things! Be my enabling today in all I say and do.
