Aspiration

Read Romans 15.20-22

“Those who were not told about Him will see, and those who have not heard will understand ..” (Rom.15.21)

Bringing the good news of Jesus to those who’ve never heard is a continuing challenge and responsibility for God’s people in every generation. Paul aspired always to prioritise this ministry and share the gospel with those who ‘have not heard’.

Are there those among your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who (so far as you can tell) have never heard the gospel?

Can you see in the Lord’s providence how He has brought, and brings, you alongside those who would never ‘go to church’ or hear the gospel otherwise?

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for those who taught me the gospel. Prosper those today whose ministry is that of bringing the good news to those who have never heard it.
