Read Romans 16.17-20
“.. watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned ..” (Rom.16.17)
The life of Christ’s church is built on the truth of His word. Believers gather in Christ both with one another and around God’s Word: their communal life is shaped together by that Word, and careful bounds were therefore set around their fellowship.
If someone put you on the spot and asked you what the Lord has been teaching you from His word in the last 3 months, what would your answer be?
Why is it so important that, as a body of believers, you gather together with your fellow believers around God’s Word?
Prayer: Shape my life and living, Lord, in accordance with Your Word. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to You throughout today.
