Transforming
Read Romans 16.25-27
“.. so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith” (Rom.16.26)
It’s a measure of the transforming power of the gospel that this Jew should be thus burdened that the Gentile world should come to know the full measure of blessing which God had promised through His (Jewish) prophets for so long.
How does the assurance that the Lord is able to establish you encourage your heart today?
How will the very fact of your gathering with God’s people for worship today bring glory to ‘the only wise God’?
Prayer: Lord You have revealed, and saved, and proclaimed (Is.43.12): help me to join with others today in praising Your great name for the grace of Your salvation!
