Contentment

Read Philippians 4.10-13

“.. I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances ..” (Phil.4.11)

Because contentment is not contingent on your circumstances, it’s invariably a grace which is learned the ‘hard’ way – discovering in the midst of both plenty and want what those things are which really matter, and which can’t be taken from you.

How has the Lord taught you that measure of contentment you presently know?

Have you sussed out the ‘secret’ of being content in any and every situation?

Prayer: You, O Lord, are trustworthy in all You promise, faithful in all You do: You open Your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing (Ps.145)
