Resurrection
“if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith ..” (1 Cor.15.14)
The good news centres on a person and an event – ‘Jesus and the resurrection’ as the summary of Paul’s preaching in Athens is summarised (Acts 17.18). The gospel without Jesus is empty: the message without the resurrection is nothing. It is good news!
