Anti-Christ
Read Daniel 11.29-45
“.. he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many .. yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him ..” (Dan.11.44-45)
The history to which this long section refers in the first instance is indicative of a ‘principle’, or pattern, which is repeated throughout history, culminating in the appearance, and persecution at the hands, of the ‘antichrist’ (see 2 Thess.2.1-12).
What are the characteristics of the kingdoms of this world according to these verses?
Why does God allow such desecration and destruction to be wrought on earth?
Prayer: Thank You for Your Word, O God, through which You warn Your people that these things must come and assure Your people that all evil will be finally destroyed.
