Read Ephesians 4.1-6
“..Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace ..” (Eph.4.3)
The life you live as a follower of Jesus is to be shaped by, and reflective of, the gospel – a living 3-dimensional demonstration of what Jesus has accomplished for us. Because He came to restore a disintegrated world, unity is important. Work at it!
How careful are you (not least in terms of v.2) to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace?
What lies at the heart of that unity between Christians which the Holy Spirit creates?
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for my fellow believers. They’re all so different and it’s not always easy to get on with them: help me to be humble, gentle, patient and forbearing.
