Faithful

Read Daniel 6.1-5

“.. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent ..” (Dan.6.4)

The Holy Spirit forms in His people the character of Jesus: one core hallmark of that is the integrity displayed by Daniel throughout his time in Babylon. Neither the pressure of office, nor the passing of years saw him weaken in his resolve to live faithfully.

Is your life distinctive? Are there ‘exceptional qualities’ in your character which prompt others to turn to you and trust you?

How can you cultivate such distinctiveness in your own life?

Prayer: O Jesus, I have promised to serve You to the end: be now and ever near me, my Master and my Friend. Jesus, draw still nearer and shield my soul from sin.
