Devoted
Read Romans 12.9-13
“.. be devoted to one another in love ..’” (Rom.12.10)
Though cheapened by its widespread use throughout society today, love is a hallmark, indeed part of the DNA, of all who are born by the Spirit of God into the family of God. Paul fires a barrage of exhortations to God’s people, bidding them be what they are.
Which of Paul’s exhortations in these verses do you find most challenging and why?
Who are the people whose ‘devotion’ to you has most helped you trust in Jesus and grow in your relationship with Him?
Prayer: Your love for Your people, O Lord, is wonderful! Please help me to be truly devoted to my brothers and sisters in Christ, and to see how that may be shown.
