Transformation
Read Philippians 2.12-18
“.. work out your own salvation .. for it is God who works in you ..” (Phil.2.12f)
The gospel is transformative. You are God’s handiwork: He puts His Spirit within you and thereby moves you to follow His decrees and to be careful to keep His laws (Ezek.36.27). That’s what God is doing in you: apply yourself to work it out.
In what respects are you aware yourself of the changes which the Lord by His Spirit has been making in you?
How will you be able to shine among the people you’re with today like the stars in the sky?
Prayer: In my life, Lord, be glorified. Take from me a grumbling, complaining spirit and fill me rather with such gratitude and grace that others will be pointed to Yourself.
