Kingdom

Read 1 Corinthians 15.20-24

“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead ..” (1 Cor.15.20)

By nature all are children of Adam, part of a world which blew it and is under the curse of God. Jesus came into the world to start a new humanity: He got it right, bore the curse and established God’s kingdom again. Where are you – in Adam, or in Christ?

What are the effects in our world today of the curse which was consequent on Adam’s sin?

What can you point to in your own life which evidences Jesus destroying ‘all dominion, authority and power’?

Prayer: Thank You, God, for delivering me, through our Lord Jesus Christ, from this body that is subject to death (Rom.7.24f): please complete that work begun in me!
