Giving
Read Philippians 4.14-19
“.. my God will meet all your needs ..” (Phil.4.19)
There’s an important dynamic in giving. ‘God loves a cheerful giver’ (2 Cor.9.7), for when He finds a people who are glad to give, He gladly gives to them. Generous giving pleases the Lord for such giving matches His own: He can trust all such with wealth!
Are there people whose needs the Lord is today laying on your heart, prompting you to send them aid in one way or another?
‘The Lord will provide’ (Gen.22.14) is one of the great foundational truths of Scripture: how have you experienced that reality yourself?
Prayer: How grateful I am, gracious God, that You are always so able and pleased to do immeasurably more than all I could ask or even think! Help me to trust You always!
