Read Luke 1.50-55
“.. His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation” (Lk.1.50)
God is indeed a very present help in time of trouble for all who look to Him. Practical help flows from His merciful heart in pursuit of His covenant love: it will find varied expression, but whatever your need, as you look to Him, be sure He will help you!
Why is pride such a barrier to knowing God’s blessing?
What is your own testimony to the ways in which the Lord has ‘filled the hungry with good things’?
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, that I may approach Your throne of grace with confidence, and that there I will always receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
