Salvation
Read Luke 1.76-79
“.. to give His people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins” (Lk.1.77)
John’s task has become the task of the church at large: believers are now a ‘prophetic’ people whose calling is to declare the praises of Him who called them out of darkness into His wonderful light (1 Pet.2.9) that others might know God’s salvation in Jesus.
Are there sins for which you need forgiveness and which you need to be confessing before the Lord today?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You have come to us and I have heard Your call. I’m glad to follow You, for the path on which You set my feet is the path of peace and life. Thank You!
