Read Daniel 4.34-37
“.. ‘Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything He does is right and all His ways are just ..’” (Dan.4.37)
If 7 days is a long time in politics, 7 years is a small eternity. The king was ‘grounded’ by the King of kings until he’d learned his lesson. Do today as the king did – lift your eyes towards heaven in the worship of God’s people, and have your sanity restored!
As you gather, Sunday by Sunday, with God’s people in public worship, in what ways does that serve to ‘clear your head’?
What has the Lord used to humble you?
Prayer: How good it is to praise You, Lord and to make music to Your name! How great are Your works, Lord, how profound Your thoughts! You are forever exalted! (Ps.92)
