Read Daniel 2.24-30
“.. ‘but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown king Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come ..’” (Dan.2.28)
Daniel proclaimed God as ‘the revealer of mysteries’, and spelled out for the king, at least implicitly, the implications of that reality. God’s revelation is meant to inform your perspective, transform your experience, and conform you to Christ’s likeness.
What important truths did Daniel underline to Nebuchadnezzar?
As you reflect back on all God’s dealings with you, by what means has God given you ‘understanding’?
Prayer: Give me, Father, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, that I may know You better: may the eyes of my heart be enlightened that I may grasp Your every blessing.
