Read 1 Timothy 1.12-17

“The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus..” (1 Tim.1.14)

Paul declares that what the Lord effected in him is an example of what He is pleased to do in the lives of all who trust in Jesus: even the roughest sketch of Paul’s life makes clear how abundantly the Lord delights and desires to bless His people!

In what ways did the Lord’s pouring out His grace in such abundance on Paul find expression in his experience?

Paul describes the contrast between what he now is and what he once was in vv.12-13: how would you describe the same contrast in your experience?

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for Your ‘amazing grace’! For I, too, once was lost and now am found: I, too, was once blind, but now I see! May Yours be the glory always!
