Revelation
Read Daniel 2.14-23
“.. ‘He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things .. You have made known to us the dream of the king ..’” (Dan.2.21-23)
Reason only ever gets you so far: revelation is ultimately needed. A key gospel truth is the fact that ‘the God of heaven’ is pleased to reveal His will and makes known to His creatures what we need to know.
How would you answer a friend who asked how God has revealed His will to you?
Are there ‘impossible’ situations you’re facing today about which the Lord here encourages you to have others join you in urgent prayer?
Prayer: Praise be to Your name, O God, for ever and ever! Thank You that You have made known to me the ‘dream’ which lies on Your heart!
