Future

Read Philippians 3.15-4.3

“.. our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there..”  (Phil.3.20)

Faith is matched by hope, and thus believers live towards the future. No longer is your life dominated by the hurts and disagreements of the past: they’re trifling in the light of the glory of heaven. If your name is in the book of life, learn to live that life now.

For whom do you provide an example? In what ways does Paul suggest you will be different from those who aren’t believers?

Are there fellow believers with whom you’ve fallen out? What might you do to ‘be of the same mind’ with them?

Prayer: I am always with You, Lord: You hold me by my right hand. You guide me with Your counsel and afterwards You will take me into glory (Ps.73)
