Rescue
Read 2 Timothy 4.9-18
“The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory for ever and ever” (2 Tim.4.18)
From the standpoint of the end of his extraordinary life Paul testified to the unfailing grace of God – an ever-present help in time of every trouble, whose comforting presence and delivering power were the great constants in his experience.
In the experience of Paul here, in what ways was Lord a ‘refuge’ for him?
Believers may often feel isolated and alone: are there people for whom a call from yourself might be a token of the Lord’s presence with them today?
Prayer: You are my hiding place, You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance. Whenever I am afraid I will trust in you.
