Read John 5.8-9
“.. At once the man was cured ..” (Jn.5.9)
The command was clear, concise, authoritative. The effect was transforming, the response immediate and total: and the day itself significant. What happened to the man is where the work of the Creator always ends. He puts us on our feet.
In what ways has the Word of the Lord had a transforming effect on your life?
What have been the great blessings for you of being able now through Jesus to walk humbly with your God (see Micah 6.8)?
Prayer: How great You are, O Lord my God: great in Your creative power, and great in Your transforming grace: help me to live today that others may know Your blessing.
