“.. the one believes in Me will live, even though they die ..” (Jn.11.25)
Martha is polite but blunt in making the point that if He’d acted in time could have preserved her brother’s life. Her sights, though, have been set too low: she thought merely of healing – Jesus was intent on raising the man from death!
