“The one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it ..’” (1 Thess.5.24)
The faith of the Thessalonian believers had become known everywhere (1 Thess.1.8): the challenge to translate that faith into the living of their lives (vv.12-22) is matched by the promise of their faithful God Himself to fulfil His calling in them (vv.23-24).
Which of the many practical exhortations addressed by Paul to these believers do you find hardest to obey?
In ‘working out your own salvation’ why does it make such a big difference to know that God is at work in you to that end (Phil.2.12-13)?
