Read Revelation 7.9-17
“.. for the Lamb at the centre of the throne will be their shepherd: He will lead them to springs of living water: and God will wipe away ever tear from their eyes” (Rev.7.17)
The riches of God’s salvation are beyond all measure! They will be the constant theme of believers in heaven – and they will take eternity and longer for you to savour and enjoy. Anticipate these riches with eagerness amid the rigours of your present trials.
What are the blessings of God’s salvation beyond this earthly life to which believers look forward?
In what ways does the gathered worship of God’s people on the Lord’s Day give expression to this hope that they have in Christ?
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, that week by week You remind us as Your people of this day of resurrection still to come! May my daily living so radiate the joy of that coming day that my life will be a beacon pointing others to Jesus.
