Friday 23 July

Application

Read Daniel 2.31-38

“.. ‘this was the dream, and now we will interpret it to the king. You, O king ..’” (Dan.2.36f)

The fact that Daniel had clearly had the content of the dream supernaturally revealed to him by God meant that the king was the more ready to pay close attention to the interpretation of the dream as its content was applied to him by Daniel.

Why would this dream have troubled Nebuchadnezzar?

What responsibilities has God given you, and what are the implications of God being the one who put you in that position?

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for all those who through the years have faithfully expounded Your Word, and whom You have used graciously and boldly to apply it to my life.
