Protector
Read Psalm 121.3-6
“.. He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep ..” (Ps.121.4)
The LORD is committed in Christ to your truest good. He sees Your every struggle, He hears your faintest cries, He feels your keenest pain – and is quick to come to your rescue. He makes it His business to be your protector, round the clock.
Does the fact that the LORD constantly watches over you frighten you or comfort you – and why?
Bad things still happen to believers – how does that square with the assurance given here?
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, that in Your Father’s love for Your people You are always mindful of my every circumstance and need – and quick to shield me from harm.
