Read 1 Timothy 1.12-13
“..I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief ..” (1 Tim.1.13)
It never ceased to astonish the apostle that someone with his sort of history should have been given the privilege of serving the Lord. And that mercy of God which sees you called to His service equips you also for the exercise of such ministry.
The Lord has appointed you also to His service, if you’re a believer: what is the particular sphere (or spheres) of service to which the Lord has called you?
In what ways are you aware of the Lord giving you a strength beyond your own for the exercise of the ministry to which He’s called you?
Prayer: You, Lord, are my strength: You make my feet like the feet of a deer: You enable me to go on the heights (Hab.3.19): help me today to live on the heights for You!
