Weakness
Read Romans 8.26-27
“.. the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans ..” (Rom.8.26)
Sometimes the pain is so great, the perplexity so dark, that finding words with which to pray is hard. We simply in the frustrations of a fallen world and in the weakness of our sin-stained humanity. Offer the groans to God: His Spirit will do the rest!
How does the Spirit help you as you pray?
The Spirit of God lays on the heart of believers the burden of God’s will: what has been your experience of that as you have prayed?
Prayer: You bid me pour out my heart before You, Lord – and I’m glad to do just that! But often I am tongue-tied in Your presence! Hear me in my child-like yabbering!
