Forever
Read Daniel 7.15-18
“.. but the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it for ever – yes, for ever and ever ..” (Dan.7.18)
A concise summary of history is given to Daniel as he puzzles over the vision he’s received. Kingdoms/empires will rise, often ‘brutal’ in the exercise of their power; but read to the end of the story – God’s kingdom endures and it’s ours to enjoy forever!
What ‘empires’ are you most aware of in the world today, and in what ways could they be described as ‘brutal’?
