Read Philippians 1.19-26
“For me to live is Christ and to die is gain ..” (Phil.1.21)
Paul preached ‘Jesus and the resurrection’ (see Acts 17.18): his outlook and perspective proclaimed the same. Knowing Jesus was his great joy, and the prospect of resurrection was his sure hope. Nothing could take these blessings from him!
