Sunday 21 November

Repentance

Read Acts 17.29-34

“.. now He commands all people everywhere to repent ..” (Acts 17.30)

Sundays are a day to get your life back on track: rooted in Jesus, centred on God, filled with the Spirit. Paul’s summons to the Athenians is the persistent summons of the Bible and the ‘flip’ side of faith – repent. Turn to God, trust in Jesus. It matters!

Are there things through this past week of which you need to repent?

How does the conviction that Jesus was raised from the dead affect the way you live your life?

Prayer: Give me, Lord, the wisdom to know both when to speak and what to say; and enable me to speak Your word always with great boldness and much grace.
